The Wood Tavern was established in 1937 and is the oldest family owned and operated hotel in Western Canada. Over the years it has become somewhat of a local institution where friends, families, and a long list of regulars can share memories and create new ones. Come visit this official Festival du Voyageur site for great entertainment and scrumptious French Canadian inspired food specials throughout the festival. The Wood Tavern has recently added numerous big screen HD televisions with all the sports programming. Come watch the big game here!

The Marion Hotel is the site hosting the legendary Voyageur Games. These classic games where contestants compete at leg wrestling, voyageur wrestling, pillow fights, tug of war and log sawing are part of the living traditions of Festival du Voyageur. Come cheer on these amateur voyageurs at these authentic competitions!

Fierté d’hiver (Winter Pride) – CANCELLED

Fierté d’hiver is a Winter Pride Celebration for Winnipeg’s LGBTQ community!

Two-Spirited People of Manitoba will start the celebration with a traditional drum song and welcoming invocation, followed by a performance by Rylee Sandberg, a 7-year-old Anishinabe, Cree and Metis hoop dancer.

Plus, ROOM SERVICE Winnipeg has lined up a night of entertainment featuring Local DJ’s, a drag show performance by Lita Takeela!
